Project Overview
Magnolia & Oak Interiors is a conceptual branding project created for a boutique interior design studio serving homeowners in Houston. The goal was to develop a timeless visual identity that reflects warmth, craftsmanship, and sophisticated residential design while maintaining a welcoming, approachable feel.
The Challenge
Create a premium visual identity that appeals to homeowners seeking custom interior design services. The branding needed to communicate elegance, trust, and timeless style while standing out in a competitive local market.
Design Strategy
The visual identity combines a stylized magnolia flower with an architectural arch inspired by classic entryways and custom millwork.
A warm neutral palette paired with deep espresso tones creates a sense of comfort and understated luxury. Traditional serif typography reinforces timeless sophistication while allowing the photography to remain the focal point.
Reflection
This project challenged me to create a visual identity that balanced luxury with warmth. By focusing on restrained typography, natural color palettes, and editorial-inspired layouts, I developed a cohesive brand experience that reflects the studio's values across both print and digital applications.
